Political Leaders Praise Facilities Ahead of Massive Amarnath Trek

BJP MP Jugul Kishor Sharma told IANS that this year’s Amarnath pilgrimage expects a larger number of pilgrims compared to previous editions. He commended the government’s preparation, citing seamless arrangements made by the municipal corporation, tourism department, police and other agencies.

Sharma urged people across the country to visit the sacred site of Baba Brafani and seek his blessings. He emphasized that the administrative machinery has worked around the clock to provide essential amenities, ensuring a comfortable experience for devotees from diverse regions.

Opposition leader Sunil Sharma echoed the sentiment, praising the enthusiasm among pilgrims and expressing confidence that the trek will remain safe and successful until its conclusion in late August.
