Political Leaders Urged to Exclude Innocents from Ram Temple Controversy

During a press briefing in Ayodhya on July 20, Jagadguru Parmahans Acharya asked political parties to refrain from targeting individuals who have not been proven guilty in the Ram Temple fund dispute.

He said the opposition’s call for a thorough investigation should be taken up by the prime minister, but the process must protect those who are merely caught in a political crossfire. "No one should be sacrificed for personal grudges," he asserted.

Acharya highlighted the importance of the upcoming trust meeting, insisting that the agenda focus strictly on administrative and legal matters without allowing personal animosities to dictate outcomes.

He also addressed recent remarks by social activist Sonam Wangchuk, praising the activist’s intention while condemning the disruptive slogans and offensive comments made by some participants during the protest.

The monk concluded by endorsing the Vande Mataram Bill, calling it a celebration of national pride that aligns with the spirit of the Ram Temple project.
