Political Figures Celebrate Diwali with Calls for Prosperity and Unity

New Delhi – As lights flickered across Indian homes, a wave of festive messages flowed from the nation’s political elite. Union Ministers Manohar Lal and Shivraj Singh Chauhan used X to extend traditional blessings, mentioning deities such as Ganesha and Lakshmi while wishing for lasting happiness and economic growth.

Across the states, Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary, Mohan Yadav, and Pushkar Singh Dhami each highlighted the symbolism of Diwali – the victory of light over darkness – and urged citizens to embrace progress, health and social cohesion.

Additional leaders, including Uttar Pradesh minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and Delhi’s Pravesh Sahib Singh, added concise greetings, reinforcing the sentiment that Diwali is a time for collective hope and national unity.

The combined messages reflected a common vision: a prosperous, peaceful India illuminated by the spirit of the festival.
