Police Reveal Modus Operandi of Noida’s Serial Campus Burglar

During questioning, the arrested thief disclosed a detailed pattern of his crimes. He would scout PGs, hostels and rental units where occupants often left doors ajar, then slip in to steal laptops, mobiles, cash and other valuables. For fast getaways, he relied on a stolen bike and occasionally used app‑based bike‑sharing services like Rapido and Ola to mask his identity. Stolen electronics were sold at low rates to passersby, and some items were dispatched as parcels to his home state of Tamil Nadu for resale. The illegal knife he kept on his person was intended to intimidate victims and facilitate a quick escape.
