Police Continue Raids to Nab Remaining Accused in Ujjain Violence Case
Following the detention of three primary suspects, law enforcement in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district has intensified raids across the Jharda region to capture the other eight individuals linked to a June 30 assault on a woman.
The victim recounted that a group of men forcibly entered her marital home, assaulted her and her husband, and threatened their lives. She suffered multiple injuries, and the incident allegedly stemmed from a disagreement over her claim to ancestral property.
Continuous ground operations have yielded several leads, and officers are employing both door‑to‑door checks and intelligence‑driven sweeps. The police spokesperson emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing and that the remaining accused will face the full force of the law.
Authorities have urged any witnesses or persons with information to come forward.
