Police launch investigation after assault on district programme manager

After the attack on the District Programme Manager of the SSA in Ara, district authorities have opened a formal case and begun a police investigation. District Education Officer Humanendra Kumar Rai visited the Mufassil police station to verify the incident and confirmed that the manager and two other staff members were assaulted while leaving the office.

Rai stated that the injured officials are currently receiving treatment at Sadar Hospital and expressed confidence that the police will quickly identify and apprehend the suspects. The investigation team has recorded statements from eyewitnesses and is reviewing CCTV footage from nearby roads.

Education department officials, angered by the brazen attack, gathered at the police station demanding rapid action. They warned that the safety of government employees must be guaranteed in order to maintain public services in the district.
