Police investigate video of SP official performing namaz in Muradabad circuit house

Muradabad police have opened a probe after a short video of Samajwadi Party district vice‑president Haji Mohammad Usman praying in the circuit house complex went viral. The FIR, registered under sections 285 and 292 of the IPC, was filed on the basis of a complaint from the circuit house in‑charge and a junior engineer of the Public Works Department. Investigators are examining who filmed the clip, how it was uploaded, and whether any rules governing the use of government premises were breached.
