PM Modi Hailed by Women at National Women's Power Conference in Delhi

In a resounding show of solidarity, women achievers from across India converged at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on Monday morning for the National Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan. The highlight was Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled address at 11 AM, underscoring the government's commitment to female empowerment. Participants hailed from government services, academia, scientific research, athletics, business ventures, journalism, NGO sectors, and arts. The summit celebrated the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill, poised to reserve seats for women in Parliament and state assemblies. Dr. Tarini Taneja emphasized its far-reaching impact. 'Self-reliant women drive progress for families, communities, and the nation,' she told media. 'This bill was overdue, and only BJP has stepped up to ensure women's equal stakes.' Yashoda Rawat pointed to historical lapses. 'Previous regimes, especially Congress, turned a blind eye,' she remarked. 'BJP's initiative deserves applause, not politics. Today's event will enlighten us with PM's words.' Gratitude flowed from Yogaita toward PM Modi. 'This bill, thanks to BJP, will empower women everywhere, enhancing participation and self-dependence,' she said. 'Leaders must unite behind it.' Dr. Vimal Preet Mohan described it as a milestone. 'Originating in BJP states, this national bill will transform opportunities for women across domains,' she enthused. Rupali celebrated the empowerment angle.
