PM Modi Diwali Greetings: A Symbol of Hope and Victory Over Darkness

The festive season arrived with official congratulations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who took to his X account on Saturday to wish Indians a happy and prosperous Diwali. The Prime Minister’s address centered on the timeless theme of light triumphing over darkness.

In his recorded message, Modi described how the Festival of Lights has brightened cities, villages, and homes nationwide. He framed the occasion as a collective commitment to eradicate negativity from society and embrace progress, knowledge, and compassion.

Extended wishes for a peaceful and prosperous year ahead formed the core of his greetings. The Prime Minister emphasized that Diwali is not merely a ritual but a renewal of personal and national aspirations. He urged citizens to uphold values of harmony and shared prosperity as they exchange gifts and sweets.

Defense personnel remain a central part of the Prime Minister’s Diwali itinerary. Modi confirmed that he will once again spend the festive day with troops at remote and border locations. This consistent tradition highlights the government’s dedication to honoring those who safeguard national security.

Earlier in the week, on November 6, Modi issued Dhanteras greetings that focused heavily on wellness. He requested divine grace from Lord Dhanvantari to bless families with robust health and mental clarity. Accompanying his message was a revered Sanskrit hymn, further emphasizing the cultural depth of the festivities.

Collectively, these communications reflect a modern yet traditional approach to festival messaging, prioritizing national cohesion, military appreciation, and public health.
