Pilgrims En Route to Mata Naina Devi Temple Involved in Crash

A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday morning close to the Pir Nigaah shrine in Una district, Himachal Pradesh. A truck filled with devotees heading towards the Mata Naina Devi temple lost stability on a sharp turn and fell into a deep gully. Approximately fifty pilgrims, including families and senior citizens, were injured. All those taken to the hospital are from the Indri block of Karnal district, Haryana. The group had arrived two days earlier for a religious ceremony and were on their way back when the vehicle slipped.
