Eligibility and Age Criteria for PFRDA Officer Grade A Jobs

To qualify for the General stream, candidates must hold a master’s degree or a two‑year postgraduate diploma in any recognized discipline, or possess a bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, or a professional qualification such as CA, FCA, CMA, FCMA or CFA. The Research stream requires a master’s or two‑year diploma in economics, finance, data science, statistics, artificial intelligence, or related fields. For the Actuarial stream, a graduation degree and clearance of all seven core principle exams of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) is mandatory. The Official Language stream accepts candidates with a master’s in Hindi translation, Sanskrit, English, or Economics, provided the bachelor’s degree included Hindi as a subject.

The maximum age limit is 30 years, calculated as of 31 July 2026. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
