Pathak Defends 131st Amendment and Temple Donation Probe, Blames Opposition

Speaking on several contentious issues, Subrat Pathak defended the government's approach to the 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill and the ongoing inquiry into the Ram Temple donation theft. He assured that the administration will pursue any measure required for national welfare.

Pathak highlighted that the Prime Minister has already signalled his unwavering support for the bill’s provisions concerning women’s rights. The earlier parliamentary defeat, he said, was a direct result of opposition tactics, and the government is prepared to re‑present the amendment for approval.

Concerning the alleged siphoning of temple donations, Pathak confirmed the formation of a Special Investigation Team, registration of FIRs and the commencement of asset recovery. He emphasized that the law will be applied equally to any individual found responsible.

He challenged the Congress and Samajwadi Party to state their position on the existence of the Ram Temple, labeling their silence as a political ploy aimed at gaining electoral advantage.
