Passenger on tracks at Lajpat Nagar causes delays, other lines run normally

On October 19, a commuter was spotted on the rail track at Lajpat Nagar, leading to a temporary suspension of trains on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. The disruption caused a backlog of services, and trains are now operating with a lag. Services on all other lines continue without interruption, according to the latest statement from the metro authority. Passengers are advised to check real‑time updates before travel.
