Party leadership to tackle dissent after ticket allocation, says Santosh

Following a controversial ticket‑allocation process, the BJP is confronting internal dissent across multiple districts in Rajasthan. B.L. Santosh, tasked with smoothing over the friction, will hold talks with aggrieved leaders and foot soldiers.

The agenda includes mediation, clarification of candidature decisions and possible reassignment of responsibilities to keep the disgruntled members engaged in the campaign. Senior party figures may be delegated the task of bringing rebel cadres back into the fold.

Santosh will also review the existing booth‑level teams, ensuring that every ward has a competent command structure. Feedback from local commanders will help the central office pinpoint gaps in the ground game.

By the end of the Jaipur trip, the BJP expects a clearer picture of which constituencies require immediate attention, whether through additional resources, strategic messaging or reconciliatory gestures toward dissenting elements.
