Party leaders gather as Nitin Navin tours Lucknow ahead of 2027 polls

Lucknow’s streets were lined with banners and lighting as BJP national president Nitin Navin touched down for a two‑day organisational march. The visit is being billed as a pivotal step in preparing the party’s machinery for the 2027 state elections.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers, and notable party stalwarts are slated to attend the welcome ceremony. State ministers praised the timing, saying the leader’s presence will boost morale among functionaries.

During the itinerary, Navin will address a large gathering of district presidents, followed by separate briefing sessions with elected representatives and senior ministers. The schedule culminates on July 5 with a keynote speech to the “Shakti Kendra” coordinators, laying out the strategic roadmap for the months ahead.

Analysts note that the high‑profile nature of the tour signals the BJP’s intent to cement its organisational strength across Uttar Pradesh before the next electoral contest.
