Party leaders criticize Pakistan’s role, demand exclusive water supply to Kashmir

Delhi – Prominent BJP figures have condemned Pakistan’s dual policy of sponsoring militancy and siphoning water from Indian rivers. Party president Satpal Sharma labeled the claims of treaty suspension as "politics of desperation" and warned that the National Conference has not delivered on its promises.

Senior leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi echoed this sentiment, stating, "If they want to spill blood, we will give them water. Those indifferent to the blood of our citizens and soldiers will receive the water they demand." He added that the Indian government is prepared to respond firmly to Pakistan’s provocations.

The leaders called for an immediate cessation of water flow to Pakistan, insisting that the resource should be reserved for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, who have long suffered from water scarcity.
