Parliamentary Clash Over Student Pain and Temple Incident
In a session marked by sharp exchanges, BJP parliamentarian Dinesh Sharma confronted Rahul Gandhi over his statements on student suffering. Sharma maintained that anyone who has never been a student cannot genuinely understand the challenges faced by the youth, and urged Gandhi to base his criticism on policy rather than emotion.
Sharma also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent pardon of protesting students, describing it as an act of compassion from a leader who sees himself as a guardian of the nation’s future.
The debate later turned to the Ram Mandir chadhava theft controversy. Sharma condemned independent MP Pappu Yadav’s decision to wear saffron clothing inside the House, calling it a violation of parliamentary decorum and an insult to the sanctity of the institution.
He also condemned the killing of two laborers by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, warning that extremist groups continue to create a false sense of ongoing terror.
