Several members of Parliament, including representatives from the Trinamool Congress, have demanded a parliamentary debate on the alleged paper leaks that have accompanied the student protests against the NEET exam. TMC MP Sagarika Ghosh insisted that any discussion must be preceded by the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Prasad, questioning why he refuses to step down.
Another TMC MP, Mahua Moitra, highlighted the repeated closures of Delhi Metro stations over three consecutive days, describing the capital as being under siege. She reiterated that the sole demand inside and outside the Parliament is the minister’s resignation, noting that without it no constructive dialogue can take place.
