Parade at Hindon Marks 94th IAF Day; Leaders Praise Discipline and Sacrifice

The Indian Air Force marked its 94th IAF Day on October 8 with a spectacular parade at the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, the Army chief, the Navy chief and several former air chiefs were present to witness the display of aerial and ground prowess.

In his address, the chief highlighted that serving as the Air Chief Marshal has been his greatest honour. He appealed to every air warrior to vow that, regardless of how severe the circumstances, they will not become a weak segment that could break the chain of the IAF. He called for an organizational culture grounded in respect, without any prejudice or discrimination.

The marshal paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country, stating that their memories endure through the values they embodied. He also thanked the families and spouses for their steadfast support, which enables the force to execute its duties with full vigor.

The parade received high praise for its smooth command, immaculate attire, strict discipline and infectious enthusiasm. Special recognition was given to the parade commander and to the staff of Western Air Command, Air Headquarters, Hindon station and the event’s organizing officers.

Concluding his speech, the Air Chief Marshal urged every air warrior to re‑dedicate themselves to the service of the great nation, to elevate the IAF to newer summits, and to uphold the motto “Nabhah Sprsham Deeptam”. He finished with a resounding “Jai Hind”.
