Pandey defends UP government while challenging SP’s video attacks

In a press briefing in Lucknow, Manoj Pandey defended the Uttar Pradesh government's record on expressway construction, job creation, agricultural output and the use of modern technology. He said these initiatives remain the government's top priority.

At the same time, Pandey rebuked the Samajwadi Party for circulating videos that, in his view, single out ministers and other constitutional office‑holders. He emphasized that disagreement is part of democracy, but it should be expressed with respect.

Pandey also responded to a claim made by Akhilesh Yadav that the BJP was obstructing a student‑assembly event in Raebareli. He dismissed the allegation, noting that any disruption was an isolated incident involving a Dalit youth that was being investigated.

The minister called on law‑enforcement agencies to act swiftly against those responsible for the campus violence.
