Organizational Shuffle in Jharkhand BJP Places Saudan Singh in Regional Charge

A major organisational reshuffle was announced by the Jharkhand BJP on Thursday, positioning Saudan Singh as the regional overseer for four key states – Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal. Singh, who previously served as the national co‑organisation general secretary, has a long history with the Jharkhand unit, having led it in earlier terms.

The reshuffle also saw Pawan Kumar Sai, the Chhattisgarh state organisation general secretary since 2016, appointed as Jharkhand’s state organisation general secretary. Sai’s focus on grassroots mobilisation and booth‑level strengthening is expected to revitalize the party’s presence in Jharkhand.

Karmveer Singh, who managed the Jharkhand organisation from August 2022, has been reassigned to Chhattisgarh. Jharkhand BJP president Aditya Sahu welcomed all three leaders, emphasizing that periodic changes in responsibilities are part of the party’s operational strategy.

Opposition figures also extended congratulations, noting that the new assignments will benefit the party’s organisational health across the region.
