Opposition slams TMC over delayed arrest in RG Kar case, while TMC calls for justice

BJP legislator Prasenjit Bag launched a sharp attack on the TMC and the former state government, claiming that Nirmal Ghosh should have been apprehended much earlier. He accused the Mamata Banerjee ministry of concealing facts related to the RG Kar murder and warned that further arrests could follow as the investigation proceeds. TMC MP Dola Sen responded by rejecting any notion of a political conspiracy, stating that her party believes in truth, justice, the constitution, and the will of the people, and that the final verdict belongs to the electorate.
