Opposition parties react to NCP (SP) delegation's audience with Prime Minister

Following the meeting between NCP (SP) MPs and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, opposition leaders voiced mixed reactions. Congress spokesperson Nasim Khan said there is nothing improper about MPs seeking central support for state projects, but reiterated that Sharad Pawar, a historic champion of the ideas of Shah, Phule and Ambedkar, would not endorse the delimitation bill favored by the BJP.

BJP MLA Amit Satam reminded that during a Lok Sabha session, it is customary for legislators from all parties to approach the Prime Minister. He described the encounter as a normal part of parliamentary proceedings, emphasizing that the Prime Minister is present in the House and therefore accessible to members.
