Opposition Parties Emphasize Secular Constitution Amidst Religious Controversy

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand said the party will not comment on the Maulana’s comments, stressing that India follows the secular constitution drafted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He added that any criminal allegation must be examined by the judiciary before punishment is imposed.
