ONGC Hiring 20 Retired Experts; Last Date November 12

The ONGC Assam Asset has announced recruitment for 20 positions of consultants, targeting retired personnel who have spent years working in production and drilling. The openings comprise 15 Associate Consultant posts and five Junior Consultant posts.

Who Can Apply

Only retired ONGC employees are eligible. Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience in work-over and drilling activities. Candidates must not exceed 63 years of age, with age measured as of November 12, 2026.

Earnings and Assessment

Associate Consultants will be paid Rs 66,000 per month, in addition to Rs 2,000 for communication expenses. Junior Consultants will earn Rs 40,000 per month, along with the same Rs 2,000 communication allowance.

Assessment will include an examination of applications, a written test, a personal interview, and verification of documents. Both the written test and interview will be held at the ONGC office in Sivasagar, Assam. Shortlisted candidates will be notified about dates and venue by email.

Employment Terms

The engagement will be on a two-year contract basis. Selected consultants will work in 24-hour shifts on rigs that are hired and operated for work-over activities.
