From 'One District One Product' to 'One District One Mafia' – Jayveer Singh Critiques Past Government

The current administration has rolled out the "One District One Product" scheme to boost local economies across Uttar Pradesh. Minister Singh contrasted this initiative with the previous government's record, saying that during Akhilesh Yadav's tenure the state witnessed a "One District One Mafia" phenomenon, where criminal networks allegedly dominated district‑level politics. Singh emphasized that the new program is designed to generate employment, encourage entrepreneurship, and dismantle the old patronage system that, in his view, hampered growth.
