Ompraj Rajbhar Calls Out Akhilesh Yadav Over JPNIC Cost and Family Involvement

In a fiery post dated October 11, Ompraj Rajbhar, the head of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, targeted Akhilesh Yadav for the Rs 865 crore expenditure on the Joint Powers New Infrastructure Complex (JPNIC). Rajbhar demanded a comprehensive audit, asking why the massive investment still appears incomplete.

He pointed out that the JPNIC steering panel is populated by Yadav, his spouse Dimple, Dharmendra Yadav and other Saifai family members, asserting that allowing relatives to manage a publicly funded edifice raises serious conflict‑of‑interest concerns. Rajbhar questioned who would benefit from the revenue streams of ancillary amenities such as a hotel, club and gym.

The BSP leader concluded by reiterating his earlier challenge: Akhilesh Yadav should contest the upcoming elections from Ayodhya, a move the chief minister has reportedly supported. Rajbhar warned Yadav that evading the contest would only reinforce perceptions of a leader hidden behind a “loader” of ACs, PCs and Twitter shields.
