How to Offer a Silver Flute to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami

According to tradition, presenting a silver flute to Krishna fulfills wishes and pleases the deity. Devotees are advised to either procure a genuine silver flute or, if unavailable, use a regular wooden flute and consecrate it with personal prayers. The offering should be placed before the idol of Bala Gopal, accompanied by butter, milk, and sweets. The ritual can be performed at home shrines or in temples during the auspicious muhurat between 11:05 am and 12:35 pm on the festival day.
