All OBC‑A/B Certificates Declared Invalid, Holders Shifted to General Category

The court order specifically states that any OBC‑A or OBC‑B certificate issued prior to the judgment is null and void. Persons who possess such documents will now be placed in the general (unreserved) category for admission, recruitment and other benefits. The decision follows a 2024 High Court hearing that removed 66 communities from the OBC list and ordered a fresh caste‑based survey.
