No Warning Issued Before Rock Drop in Bangalore Quarry, Families Demand Probe

Survivors allege that the operators of the upper quarry failed to alert those working below. Gopi, a veteran quarry worker from Tamil Nadu, described how the sudden slide gave him and three others only seconds to flee. "We had been told earlier that the owners always warn us, but this time there was no notice," he said. The incident left the community shaken, with families calling for a thorough investigation into safety lapses and the legality of the twin quarry operations.
