In a call to action for Madhya Pradesh’s development machinery, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav declared that construction quality must remain non-negotiable as the state pushes forward with ambitious projects. Addressing engineers and officials at the Ravindra Bhavan workshop hosted by the MP Building Development Corporation, he laid out a blueprint for excellence.
Construction, according to Yadav, transcends basic building—it’s a creative endeavor demanding visionary planning and adaptation to modern demands. ‘Every project needs collective agreement and unwavering quality focus; full throttle effort from all is essential for our growth,’ he urged.
The CM highlighted skill upgradation’s role in combating stagnation and embracing tech advancements. These sessions, he said, rejuvenate professionals, aligning them with cutting-edge practices. He lauded PM Gati Shakti’s role under Modi’s leadership in transforming departmental innovations into reality, hailing engineers for landmark achievements like expansive roads, sturdy bridges, grand stadiums, and vital structures—including the iconic Sandipani School.
Despite hurdles, the Public Works Department’s two-year track record stands tall. Minister Rakesh Singh called the workshop a beacon of reform, unveiling tools like the training calendar, project manual, and advanced PMS Portal 2.0. Strategic partnerships were forged via MoUs with CRRI, IAHE, ESCI, IIT Mumbai, and SPA Bhopal, bolstering technical expertise.
As Madhya Pradesh eyes rapid urbanization and connectivity, Yadav’s message resonates: quality-first infrastructure will drive sustainable progress, benefiting millions and setting benchmarks for others to follow.
