In a bid to address public concerns over fuel availability, Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas convened a high-level meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat to assess the supply and distribution of petrol, diesel, and LPG throughout the state. He reassured citizens that ample stocks are available across Rajasthan and there is no need for panic buying. The supply situation is stable, with regular fuel deliveries continuing through the national pipeline network linked to the state. Central authorities have committed to ensuring uninterrupted fuel and LPG supplies to Rajasthan in the coming days. To promote transparency, the Chief Secretary instructed oil companies to publish daily district-wise figures on fuel availability and distribution. Daily reviews at the district level will help prevent rumors and artificial scarcity. He directed officials to closely monitor bulk sales of petrol and diesel in drums and to strengthen surveillance mechanisms against illegal fuel trading. The administration is maintaining constant oversight of the supply chain. The Chief Secretary urged the public to avoid hoarding and spreading rumors, stressing that such actions could strain the supply network unnecessarily. Food and Civil Supplies Secretary Ambarish Kumar confirmed that the department is actively monitoring to prevent illegal sales or black marketing. The meeting was attended by senior officials from BPCL, IOCL, HPCL, private suppliers, and petrol pump dealer associations.
