No Death Reported at CJ Protest Near Jantar Mantar, Officials Confirm

NEW DELHI, July 23 – Rumors of a fatality among women protestors at the CJ Party rally close to Jantar Mantar were shown to be baseless after an official statement from Delhi Police.

The police, via its verified X channel, clarified that the alleged death never occurred. The woman in question is alive, receiving care at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and her health is currently stable.

Hospital physicians corroborated the police report, noting that the patient has been removed from the ventilator and is breathing unaided. She remains conscious and is cooperating with medical instructions.

Authorities appealed to netizens to verify any news before disseminating it, emphasizing that sharing unverified claims can cause unnecessary panic.

The police also disclosed that the protest resulted in more than 118 police personnel and 60 activists sustaining injuries. Over 20 police vehicles suffered damage in the chaos, and several FIRs have been lodged to investigate the incidents.

The CJ Party’s demonstration continues, with participants demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister.
