Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit for NMPC Recruitment

The NMPC recruitment drive specifies distinct eligibility requirements for each of the seven posts. Candidates for scientific positions must possess a master’s degree from a recognized university in Botany, Pharmacognosy, Forestry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Medicinal Plants, Biotechnology or Pharmacy.

For the Finance and Administrative Officer and Accountant roles, applicants need five years of relevant work experience and, in the case of the accountant, successful completion of a nine‑week cash and accounts training program.

The upper age ceiling is 56 years. Age will be calculated based on the applicant’s date of birth as of the final date of application submission (30 July). Age relaxations, if any, follow the standard government norms.
