NIT Jamshedpur Opens Four Contract Coaching Posts in Physical Education, Yoga, NCC, NSS

Ranchi, Aug 22 — The National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur has announced four contract openings for Guest Faculty/Coaches at its Student Activity Centre. The vacancies span Physical Education & Sports, Yoga, National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS). Applicants must email a consolidated PDF containing their updated resume and all required certificates to the official address by August 24. Required qualifications include a Master’s in Physical Education for the sports role, a Master’s in Yoga for the yoga role, a postgraduate degree with a valid NCC ‘C’ certificate or retired defence service background for the NCC role, and a postgraduate degree with an NSS certificate plus relevant community‑service experience for the NSS role. Candidates holding a Ph.D. will be prioritized. The selection will be conducted through a walk‑in interview and document verification on August 25 at the NIT‑J campus, with a daily salary of INR 2,000.
