NIT Goa faculty recruitment: deadlines, fees and benefits explained

The National Institute of Technology Goa has opened recruitment for 28 faculty slots, covering Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors. The announcement lists 16 Assistant Professor positions (Grade‑II and Grade‑I), eight Associate Professors and four Professors.

The online submission period starts on 31 August and ends on 30 September. All applicants must complete the electronic form and pay the applicable fee before 5 pm on the final day.

After the digital filing, a hard‑copy of the application with all attested documents must be dispatched via post to the Registrar, NIT Goa, Kottamol Pithar, Kunkolim Municipal Area, Salcete Taluka, South Goa, Goa 403703, by 5 pm on 7 October.

Candidates must hold a PhD and possess relevant experience ranging from three to thirteen years, as specified for each grade.

Shortlisting will be performed based on application verification, credit‑point assessment, a teaching demonstration, and a personal interview. Successful candidates will be paid a monthly salary between ₹70,900 and ₹1,59,100, together with standard allowances and other benefits.

The online application fee is set at ₹1,500 for General/OB‑C male candidates and ₹500 for General/OB‑C female candidates. Those belonging to SC, ST, PwD or EWS categories are exempt from the fee.
