Nishad Warns Opposition of Misleading Youth Ahead of CJP Parade

On July 20, Uttar Pradesh minister Sanjay Nishad addressed the crowd gathered at Jantar‑Mantar for the “Cochroach Janata Party” march. He warned that the opposition is deliberately steering the nation’s youth into confusion, likening the demonstrators to missiles that have lost their trajectory.

Nishad pointed out that the rally resembled uninvited guests crashing a wedding, with no clear purpose other than to create chaos. He called for young aspirants to seek formal political education before attempting to influence policy.

Responding to three demands put forward by activist Sonam Wangchuk, Nishad described the participants as well‑read but reckless for aligning with potentially harmful groups. He assured that the state government is working to protect their lives, while accusing the opposition of betraying the visions of Gandhi and Ambedkar.

He reinforced the idea that politics exists to safeguard public resources and to formulate legislation that benefits society. In his view, a healthy government and sound ideas are prerequisites for meaningful law‑making.

The minister also applauded Prime Minister Modi’s comments on youth entrepreneurship, noting India’s accelerating progress in the energy arena, particularly with hydrogen power, which he sees as vital for national advancement.

Finally, Nishad welcomed the Home Minister’s proposal to introduce a “Vande Mataram” related bill, describing it as an honour to every patriot who contributed to India’s independence. He said the Supreme Court’s pending report on the Ram Temple theft is a constitutional matter, and all parties must respect the court’s decision.
