Two accused linked to Nigerian and Mizoram backgrounds apprehended in drug lab raid

The latest crackdown by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Gautam Buddha Nagar resulted in the arrest of two individuals with distinct international and regional ties. Destiny Abraham Dambiri, who described himself as a Nigerian national, and Lallavamzuali—also known as Olivia Lalachavimavi—from the Indian state of Mizoram, were taken into custody after the discovery of two illegal amphetamine production facilities in Kadulpur village.

The seized inventory comprised 379.74 kg of amphetamine material, including 4.26 kg of crystal, 157.70 kg of semi‑crystalline product and 217.78 kg of liquid precursor, alongside 10 kg of pseudo‑ephedrine. Analysts project that the solid portion could be refined into roughly 56 kg of finished amphetamine crystals, potentially generating a street value close to ₹45 crore.

A range of precursor chemicals—hydrochloric acid, acetone, toluene, sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate—were also recovered, together with laboratory equipment such as heating mantles, glass reactors, large storage drums, filtration sets, precise weighing balances and respirators.

Immigration logs reveal that Dambiri entered India in January 2020 using a Sierra Leone passport under the alias Francis Kaloko, holding a valid tourist visa until the end of that year. Olivia Lalachavimavi had previously faced detention by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in Goa after 313 g of heroin‑laden powder was discovered in her checked baggage at Dabolim Airport in March 2026; she remains out on bail.

The operation follows the NCB’s October 2024 seizure at the Kasna industrial area, where 95.5 kg of synthetic narcotics were intercepted and connections to the Mexican CJNG cartel were uncovered. Investigators are now piecing together the financial flows, chemical procurement routes and logistical networks that support such drug‑manufacturing cells, signalling further arrests could be on the horizon.
