NHAI Announces 2026 Recruitment for Senior Management Positions

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a fresh recruitment notification for twelve senior positions, including multiple General Manager roles and Deputy General Manager (IT) posts. This opportunity caters to professionals with expertise in law, transport planning, economics, environmental science, electronics, and information technology.

The online application portal opened on August 19 at 10 am and will remain active until September 18. Candidates must register on the official NHAI website and submit their forms before the 6 pm cut‑off on the last day.

Post‑submission, applicants are required to mail a hard copy of their application along with all supporting documents to the Under‑Deputy Manager (HR/Admin)‑K, NHAI Plot No. G‑5 & 6, Sector‑10, Dwarka, New Delhi‑110075, by October 17.

Eligibility criteria stipulate that candidates hold a recognized qualification relevant to the post: LLB for law positions, B.Tech in Civil Engineering, postgraduate degrees in Transport Planning, Economics, or Environmental Science/Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, and B.Tech/B.E./MCA in Computer Science/IT. Additionally, a professional experience window of six to fourteen years is mandatory.

The upper age limit is set at 56 years, calculated based on the final application date. Selection will be conducted through document verification, interviews, and other assessment stages. Salary packages for General Manager posts are between ₹1,23,100 and ₹2,15,900 per month, whereas Deputy General Manager salaries range from ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200 per month.
