New Skill Centers to Be Set Up Across Nine Zones under UP's SVPSTPZ Initiative

Phase 1 of the plan will see skill and employment centres inaugurated at five strategic locations: Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Jhansi. Each centre will be built on 10‑25 acres of free‑hold land, with four‑lane road connectivity guaranteed within two years. The facilities will include hostels, placement cells, and on‑site service‑employment offices, all managed under a public‑private partnership (PPP) DBFOT model.
