New Sardar Patel Monument Inaugurated as Bihar Pushes Health and Industry Growth

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary unveiled a towering iron statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel near the New Bodwa bus stand in Jamui’s Jhaza block on 16 August. The monument commemorates Patel’s role in forging a united India and serves as a reminder of his patriotic spirit.

In his speech, Chaudhary emphasized the state’s commitment to achieving the "Developed India" and "Prosperous Bihar" goals articulated by the Prime Minister and former chief minister. He announced the launch of new industrial units across the state to accelerate economic development.

A major component of the plan involves adding more than one hundred bus stands throughout Bihar, a move aimed at enhancing the public transport framework and easing commuter movement.

The chief minister also detailed health sector upgrades, noting that district hospitals now offer thirty‑six types of operations. He warned that any doctor who refers patients without proper justification will face strict disciplinary action.

Health Minister Nishant and Transport Minister Damodar Raut also addressed the gathering, urging officials and citizens alike to follow Patel’s dedication to a strong, united nation.
