New Safety Audits Mandated for PG Hostels, Nursing Homes, Schools

Working with the Municipal Corporation, the Delhi administration is drafting a policy that will require periodic structural audits of all public‑domain PG accommodations, nursing homes, and schools. Buildings that do not receive a safety certification will be barred from hosting any public activity. The CM assured that students will not be forced to stay in unsafe PGs and that alternative housing has been arranged for those displaced by the collapse.
