Protest erupts as Mahato's journey begins in Nemra, Ramgarh

Local residents of Nemra village staged a spontaneous protest as Devendra Mahato launched his recruitment‑reform campaign. Armed with traditional bows, arrows, axes and sticks, villagers accused Mahato of politicising the village atmosphere for personal gain. Despite the opposition, Mahato continued the itinerary, departing from Ramgarh toward Hazaribagh, promising to link villages and towns in the fight for fair exam conduct.
