In a scathing attack, JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has linked Naseemuddin Siddiqui’s abrupt departure from Congress to the party’s compromising deals with corrupt figures. The veteran leader’s exit on Saturday, framed as due to personal compulsions, has ignited fresh debates on Congress’s internal stability.
‘Congress’s antics reveal their collaboration with the corrupt,’ Kumar told media persons, pointing to Siddiqui and Shakeel Ahmad’s outbursts as fallout from flawed political trades masquerading as democratic safeguards. He warned that such misplaced loyalties are capsizing the party’s fortunes, with members abandoning ship one by one.
Only those aligned unquestioningly with the Gandhi parivar enjoy safety nets, according to Kumar. Siddiqui’s missive to Kharge was polite yet firm, relinquishing primary membership and duties over unachieved ideals, sans personal grudges.
Turning to RJD’s plush hotel conclave, Kumar ridiculed the opulence, urging them to deliberate domestically given their vast assets and familial stranglehold on positions. He foresaw RJD’s electoral wilderness in Bihar for years, citing the Rohini Acharya episode as a glaring accountability failure.
Kumar dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s EC jibes as sour grapes post-losses, noting Congress’s flip-flop: acclaim where they win, condemnation where they falter. As Bihar’s alliances shift, this resignation amplifies Congress’s vulnerabilities ahead of crucial polls.
