Neeraj Kumar Highlights GDP Growth, Infrastructure Projects and FIR Cancellation

Addressing the state’s recent 7.8% GDP growth, Kumar argued that true development must be measured beyond numbers, pointing to large‑scale infrastructure such as the Kosi Mahasetu, Atal Setu and JP Ganga Path in Bihar. He said these projects transform livelihoods and unlock regional economic potential.

Kumar also took a jab at opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that stagnant political fortunes despite economic progress could become a liability.

On the issue of the Supreme Court’s order to cancel an FIR against student protesters, Kumar stressed the right of youth to seek employment and transparent recruitment. He welcomed the formation of a Bihar examination reform committee, noting that frequent changes in exam patterns and paper leaks have caused anxiety among students and parents.
