Commander SB Singh of the National Disaster Response Force briefed the media on the difficulties faced during the ongoing rescue at the Moshi waste‑to‑energy site. Rescuers are creating narrow hand‑dug passages to access the interior of the collapsed building, which remains tilted about 45°. So far three bodies have been identified, with one already extracted. Heavy equipment is avoided to limit vibrations; instead, debris is being removed brick by brick while life detectors, acoustic sensors and sniffing dogs are deployed.
