Union Minister Chirag Paswan launched a scathing attack on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over her announcement of assembly polls, predicting a decisive NDA victory. In a candid exchange with reporters in New Delhi, he slammed TMC’s ‘politics of appeasement,’ stating the public has reached a breaking point. ‘Bengal craves change, and the NDA will form the next government without doubt,’ Paswan proclaimed.
Detailing the unrest, Paswan described Bengal under TMC as chaotic and dissatisfaction-ridden. ‘The created environment has fueled enormous public outrage, paving the way for our big win,’ he explained. His vision includes repeating success in Assam and witnessing upheaval in Tamil Nadu.
On the Rajya Sabha polls, Paswan attributed the clean sweep of all five NDA candidates to unwavering alliance solidarity. ‘Opposition cracks were evident from the start, with open discontent in places like Odisha,’ he observed. Under PM Modi’s stewardship, the NDA marches ahead robustly.
Tackling LPG supply concerns linked to regional conflicts, Paswan downplayed immediate worries. ‘We’re taking proactive steps and keeping a watchful eye, ensuring smooth supplies so citizens need not panic,’ he stated. He rebuked opposition narratives as baseless propaganda, reaffirming Modi’s focus on food security and public health.
Paswan’s forthright remarks underscore the NDA’s strategic confidence, positioning it strongly for electoral gains across multiple fronts.
