NDA Leaders Gather in Lucknow to Map 2027 Election Tactics

Lucknow became the focal point of the National Democratic Alliance on July 5 when BJP president Nitin Naveen scheduled a joint meeting with coalition partners. The gathering aims to align organisational efforts and craft a winning strategy for Uttar Pradesh’s 2027 assembly elections.

Union minister Narendra Kashyap told the press that the session will feature extensive deliberations with partner party heads on campaign messaging, seat allocation, and grassroots mobilisation. He highlighted the BJP’s reputation for upholding coalition values, urging rivals to take note.

Kashyap added that Naveen, during his Lucknow visit, will hold one‑on‑one talks with MPs, MLAs, senior officials and party workers to ensure every ally moves in lockstep. The meeting’s purpose extends beyond policy discussion, seeking to present a united front that can secure a decisive win in the upcoming polls.

Since touching down on Saturday, Naveen has engaged in continuous meetings with legislators, organizational leaders and government representatives, signalling the launch of a systematic election campaign. He called on elected officials to project the achievements of both central and state administrations and to channel welfare schemes effectively to citizens.

When asked about Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s criticisms, Kashyap dismissed the opposition’s stance as mere political posturing, emphasizing that the BJP continues to prioritize development and party building. He reaffirmed the belief that voters will again back a "double‑engine" government.

Regarding the Ram temple controversy, Kashyap assured that investigations are progressing, with arrests already executed. He reaffirmed that the chief minister has ordered that no one, regardless of stature, is above the law, and that the Special Investigation Team is overseeing a fair inquiry.
