NDA’s development drive in Bihar praised by JDU chief ahead of Bankipur vote
During a press briefing in Patna on July 8, 2024, Sanjay Jha commended the National Democratic Alliance’s development initiatives that have taken shape across Bihar.
He pointed to visible changes in Patna’s skyline, the expansion of road networks, and the influx of new industries as evidence that the NDA’s governance is delivering results.
Jha emphasized that Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s reforms—particularly those simplifying land acquisition and easing regulatory hurdles—have created a conducive environment for investors, a factor he described as crucial for the state’s future growth.
According to Jha, the Bankipur assembly by‑election will be a clear indicator of whether voters reward the NDA for these strides, expecting a decisive win “by a large margin.”
He also remarked that opposition formations, including the Congress, remain mired in internal family politics, limiting their ability to present a credible alternative.
The JDU leader concluded that the upcoming vote is not just about a single seat but a referendum on the NDA’s development agenda and its impact on everyday lives in Bihar.
