During the conference, Sandhu launched the “National Model School Safety Toolkit,” describing it as a practical guide for institutions to institutionalise protection and preparedness culture. The toolkit provides step‑by‑step procedures for risk identification, emergency response planning, cyber‑security safeguards, and mental‑health crisis management. He stressed that adoption of the toolkit will enable schools to standardise safety protocols, foster accountability, and create a unified framework for collaboration with government bodies and community partners.
